Here are some animated wallpapers/backgrounds I've made with limited palettes. They've got very small file sizes so they load quickly despite being 3k-4k resolution!
This first one is a twinkling 4k starscape which uses resources from this public domain image and this cc-attribution-3.0 gif by Maktesh, so if you're using it in a public facing place like a website, you'll need to credit Maktesh as well as me (qwanderer).
This next 4k one of Earth's clouds from space is made from a public domain video here.
I've made both 3k and 4k gifs from this public domain waterfall video:
And a couple of different colors of 3k gifs from this NASA simulation of a neutron star, which is in the public domain.
